Un centre de télécommunications ayant servi aux premières transmissions TV par satellite cohabite avec une reproduction fidèle d’un village gaulois. Dans un même parc, des antennes pharaoniques et leur musée des télécoms témoignent avec fierté de l’hyperconnectivité triomphante, à quelques mètres des menhirs et des toits en chaume. Eux cultivent un mythe à part, celui des Gaulois, de la vie de village. Ce livre, pensé dans le cadre d’un workshop avec RVB Books, raconte ce lieu, et surtout la série d’incendies criminels qui ont ravagé le village gaulois en 2024, du fait de la vindicte d’un ancien bénévole ayant disparu dans les sous-bois.

A telecommunications center, once used for the first satellite TV transmissions in Europe, shares the same grounds with a meticulously reconstructed Gaulish village. In this single park, monumental antennas and their museum celebrate the age of triumphant hyperconnection—just steps away from menhirs and thatched roofs. These two worlds uphold different myths: one of technological conquest, the other of ancient village life. This book, developed during a workshop with publishing house RVB Books, explores this unlikely coexistence—and more pressingly, the series of arson attacks that devastated the village in 2024, sparked by the fury of a former volunteer who vanished into the surrounding woods, succesfully living undetected for three months before being caught.
